Board of Directors

Saxonny Carmony
I am originally from Long Beach and relocated to Redding about 10 years ago where I now live with my husband and two kids. My hope is to utilize my schooling experience in allied health studies coupled with my professional experience in the financial field to aid in the growth of AccessHome and produce a positive societal impact on our local counties and the people that call them home.
Beyond that, I believe that on a human being level it is imperative to fight for those in need. A home is the first step in a long process of reintegrating the underserved demographics in our county. In continuing the vision of AccessHome, we are working towards a safer, thriving community for the generations to come.

I am interested in serving on the BOD because I use to be homeless in the past and would like to be involved in an organization that helps people with housing.

“I believe that no person living with a disability should be living on the streets; they have enough obstacles standing in their way. I am a Developmental Consultant with the Parent Infant Programs in Redding. I am cognizant of the fact that my little clients will turn into grown people who deserve to live as independently as possible. My interest in AccessHome includes helping our homeless community achieve as much independence as possible.”

Leslie Wilson
I gained interest in AccessHome through my association with a retired board member. Recently I read about the AccessHome program that will develop a plan of action to enable homeless to be assessed for their needs; mental and physical, and assist them in acquiring housing. I have the opportunity to be part of a team to provide economical housing and allow clients to move forward to a stable presence.
